Free Egg Tart Pattern

Do you dread sewing too? High-five! Then you have came to the right place.

I keep the need for sewing in my patterns to the minimum!

All patterns are written in US crochet terms.

​

I used worsted weight yarn and 3mm hook, but feel free to use other types of yarn and the corresponding hook size.

​

All patterns are worked in continuous rounds, unless otherwise stated.

​

You are welcome to sell the finished products, but please credit me as the designer.

Custard

With yellow colour yarn:

​

Round 1: magic ring with 6sc [6]

Round 2: inc x 6 [12]

Round 3: (sc, inc) x 6 [18]

Round 4: (sc, inc, sc) x 6 [24]

Round 5: (3sc, inc) x 6 [30]

Round 6: (2sc, inc, 2sc) x 6 [36]

Round 7: (5sc, inc) x 6 [42]

Round 8: (3sc, inc, 3sc) x 6 [48]

Fasten off. Cut yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.

Abbreviations

sl st: slip stitch

sc: single crochet

dc: double crochet

inc: increase (2sc in one stitch)

FLO: front loop only

BLO: back loop only

Crust

In brown colour yarn:

Round 1: magic ring with 6sc [6]

Round 2: inc x 6 [12]

Round 3: (sc, inc) x 6 [18]

Round 4: (sc, inc, sc) x 6 [24]

Round 5: (3sc, inc) x 6 [30]

Round 6: BLO 30sc [30]

Round 7: (2sc, inc, 2sc) x 6 [36]

Round 8: 36sc [36]

Round 9: (5sc, inc) x 6 [42]

Round 10: (3sc, inc, 3sc) x 6 [48]

Round 11: FLO (dc, sl st) x 24 [48]

Make an invisible fasten off.

Assembly

Sew Custard to Crust along the back loop of Crust's Round 11.

​

Stuff the Egg Tart lightly before finishing off.
