Free No-sew Collapsible Mesh Bottle Holder Pattern

Do you dread sewing too? High-five! Then you have came to the right place.

I keep the need for sewing in my patterns to the minimum!

All patterns are written in US crochet terms.

​

I used worsted weight yarn and 3mm hook, but feel free to use other types of yarn and the corresponding hook size.

​

All patterns are worked in continuous rounds, unless otherwise stated.

​

You are welcome to sell the finished products, but please credit me as the designer.

Abbreviations

st: stitch

sl st: slip stitch

ch: chain

sc: single crochet

dc: double crochet

tr: triple crochet

puff: puff stitch

bpsc: back-post single crochet

inc: increase (2sc in one stitch)

dec: decrease (1sc over two stitches)

FLO: front loop only

BL: back loop

Base (1) (join rounds)

Round 1: magic ring with (puff, ch) x 8, join to first puff with sl st

​

Round 2: sl st into next ch space, (2 puff into ch space) x 8, join to first puff with sl st

​

Round 3: ch3 (considered 1dc + ch), (dc, ch) x 2 into 1 st, [dc, ch, (dc, ch) x2 into 1 st] x 7, join to top of first dc (second ch from bottom) with sl st

​

Round 4: sl st into ch space, puff in the same ch space, ch, (puff in next ch space, ch) x 23, join to first puff with sl st

​

Continue to make the Mesh.

Mesh (join rounds)

Round 5: (ch8, skip 1 puff, bpsc on next puff) x 11, ch4, tr to the sl st joint on the previous round

​

Round 6 - 14: *ch, sc on the same mesh loop*, (ch8, sc on the center of next mesh loop) x 11, ch4, *tr to the sc at the beginning of the round*

This technique is used to start and end each Mesh round.

Round 15: ch, sc on the same mesh loop, (ch8, sc on the center of next mesh loop) x 11, ch8, sl st to the sc at the beginning of the round

Round 16: sl st into the next mesh loop, 5sc into the same mesh loop, (5sc into next mesh loop) x 11, join to the first sc of the round with sl st, ch

Round 17: 60sc, join to the first sc of the round with sl st, ch

Round 18: 5sc, ch75, skip 10 sts, 20sc, ch75, skip 10 sts, 15sc, join to the first sc of the round with sl st, ch

​

Round 19: 5sc, 75sc on ch, 20sc, 75sc on ch, 15sc

 

Cut yarn, make an invisible finish on the first st of the round.

Base (2) (join rounds)

Repeat Round 1 - 4 of Base (1), and continue,

Round 5: ch, FLO 72sc

Round 6: [sl st BL of Base (2) with BL of Base (1)] x 49, [sl st on BL of Base (1) only] x 12, ch20, sl st into same st where the ch began, [sl st on BL of Base (1) only] x 11

​

Fasten off and hide yarn tail.
